Additive Scale GmbH is a German manufacturing company that produces 3D printed eyewear frames as a service. It serves eyewear brands, retail chains, and consumer brands. Founded in 2021 as a subsidiary of YOU MAWO, a global leader in premium 3D printed eyewear, Additive Scale uses proprietary technology to produce frames at scale, from a single unit to a million.

Additive Scale needed a website that matched the precision and innovation of its technology. GIXEZ IT converted their Figma design into a fully responsive WordPress website built with Elementor Pro. The result is a striking, minimal website that presents Additive Scale’s quality, scalability, and sustainability to potential B2B partners worldwide.

The Figma design relied on a strong visual style: a monochrome palette, large condensed uppercase headlines, full-screen atmospheric imagery, and a transparent header over each hero. With so few design elements, every detail mattered. Spacing, typography, and image placement had to match the mockup precisely, or the premium feel would be lost.

The large headlines also had to stay bold and readable on smaller screens. As a German company, Additive Scale had to meet strict EU privacy requirements as well, including GDPR-compliant cookie consent and the legal pages required in Germany, such as an Imprint.

We built the website in WordPress with Elementor Pro, carrying over the Figma design’s monochrome style, condensed headline font, and full-screen background imagery across the Home, Technology, and Contact pages. A transparent header sits on top of each hero section, and a consistent set of global styles keeps spacing and typography uniform throughout the site.

To keep the large headlines strong on every device, we set custom responsive breakpoints and adjusted the font sizes for tablet and mobile so each statement stays bold without breaking the layout. Key messages are presented in clear feature blocks: quality, scalability, sustainability, and partnership.

For EU compliance, we added a GDPR cookie consent manager with detailed preference controls, along with the Imprint, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy pages. Fonts are hosted locally rather than loaded from Google, which improves both privacy compliance and page speed. The result is a fast, elegant website that Additive Scale’s team can easily manage in Elementor.
